Methodology
Suppliers are ranked based on their growth rate, calculated by comparing English public sector earnings derived from Oxygen Insights public sector spend intelligence across two periods: April 2022 – March 2023 and April 2023 – March 2024. To qualify, a supplier must have earned at least £100,000 from the public sector in 2022-23. Suppliers are excluded if they were in Administration, Liquidation, Dissolved, subject to a Proposal to Strike Off, or in a Voluntary Arrangement at the time the data was called off.
Notes
- Top Market: This represents the sector where the supplier generated the highest revenue in 2023-24. However, the overall growth rate is based on total public sector earnings in England.
- Bar Chart: Displays the percentage breakdown of 2023-24 revenue from Central Government, Local Government, and Other areas (including the NHS, Emergency Services, and Other Local Government bodies).
- Line Chart: Shows monthly public sector earnings in England for each supplier between April 2022 and March 2024.
